Twechar Healthy Living & Enterprise Centre is located in the heart of the village and provides a focus for much of the learning, social, recreational and community activities in the village.

The centre provides facilities for learning and training, health and well-being activities, and cultural, sport and recreational pursuits as well as offering accommodation for community groups and houses the following indoor and outdoor activities:

A café open to the public on a daily basis providing healthy eating snacks and meals. We also offer external catering on request.

Twechar Healthy Living and Enterprise Centre has now taken over the running of the Canalside Café based in Kirkintilloch Campus of Cumbernauld College. This facility is opened to the public and takeaway/sit in is available. Please call 07581 579085 to make an order.

A large (3 badminton court) sports hall which can be let for sport activities as a whole or divided into 3 sports units.

A multi-purpose room suitable for leisure and fitness activities, meeting, seminars and conferences and training courses for which catering can also be provided.

A second multi-purpose room which has been customised for pre-five children and houses playgroup and parent and toddler activities.

Toilet, shower and changing facilities for both sexes.

A full size outdoor football pitch.

A full time Pharmacy offering a prescription collection and delivery service extending to all neighbouring towns and villages, telephone 01236 827 620 for more information.
